Biography

Dr. Suresh Mukkamala earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education before completing his internship and residency in internal medicine at Easton Hospital in Easton, PA. He completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, LA. He is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Mukkamala is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer. His areas of interest include breast cancer, gastrointestinal malignancy, and lung cancer, as well as general hematology and oncology.

In his spare time, Dr. Mukkamala enjoys volleyball, cricket, table-tennis, and outdoor activities. He also loves to cook and spend time with his family and friends. He is fluent in English, Telugu, and Hindi.

Philosophy

I believe in providing my patients with the same treatment and care that I would give to my family members. Developing an honest relationship with patients helps to eliminate uncertainty and improve trust toward better outcomes.
