Lung Cancer Awareness Month

If we catch lung cancer before it spreads, the likelihood of surviving 5 years plus improves to 65 percent. Screening can find cancer at its earliest, most curable stage.

Are you at risk for lung cancer? Now is the time to be screened, even if you don't have symptoms.

Annual Low-Dose CT (LDCT) screening is recommended for people ages 50 to 80 who have a history of heavy smoking (at least a 20 pack-year history) and currently smoke or have quit within the last 15 years.

If a lung nodule is detected, you can be referred to our Nodule Clinic. This multidisciplinary team provides rapid evaluation, precise diagnosis and streamlined management.
