Biography

Jonlyn is an oncology nurse practitioner at TMC Health Cancer Center in Tucson, Arizona. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2014 from the University of Phoenix and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Jonlyn has extensive experience in oncology, including breast, gynecologic, urologic, and gastroenterological malignancies. She is actively involved in clinical trials and research as part of US Oncology’s clinical research program. Prior to coming to TMC Health Cancer Center, Jonlyn worked at Tucson Medical Center where she gained experience in surgical and gynecologic oncology.

Jonlyn also provides genetic risk evaluation services at the Wilmot office as part of TMC Health Cancer Center’s High Risk Cancer Program. She received her training in cancer genetics at City of Hope and is an alumnus of their Intensive Course in Genomic Cancer Risk Assessment. She is enthusiastic about the role of the advanced practice provider in oncology and was one of nine practitioners nominated to attend the Advanced Practice Provider Leadership Academy in 2017, representing TMC Health Cancer Center for the US Oncology Network.

Outside of work, Jonlyn likes to spend time running, cycling, participating in triathlons, hiking, and gardening. She also enjoys reading, cooking, traveling with her husband, spending time with family, and hanging out with her yellow labrador.
