Laboratory testing
To give our patients complete care in a convenient location, TMC Health Cancer Center offers fully accredited lab services at many of our offices.
Our laboratory team consists of highly trained and experienced professionals dedicated to providing the best care. Certified lab technicians and specialists work closely with your doctor and nurses, ensuring fast and accurate test results. Our laboratories exceed the highest standards of excellence, using advanced technologies and instrumentation.
You also benefit from the convenience of having lab tests done during your visit. If a test is not available in our labs, we may send it to an outside lab based on your insurance plan’s guidelines. Some insurance plans require tests to be done at specific labs.
Processing times vary, but your doctor will review your results as soon as they are ready. You will discuss them at your next visit after they are completed. If urgent results need attention, your doctor or nurse will contact you right away.
